Dalam kajian ini, pengkajimemberi penekanan kepada salah satu seni silat Melayu yang agak asing didengari dalam masyarakat Melayu iaitu Seni Silat Randai Minang. Seni silat ini sebenarnya adalah warisan daripada tanah seberang kemudiannya disesuaikan dengan keadaan masyarakat di Malaysia.
