Amalan kesantunan berbahasa dalam kalangan masyarakat amat penting untuk terus difahami, dihayati dan seterusnya diwarisi oleh generasi masa hadapan. Oleh yang demikian kajian-kajian terhadap bidang kesantunan perlu diperkembangkan lagi dengan melihat konteks dan peristiwa bahasa yang berbeza agar amalan kesantunan dapat dilestari dan diwarisi. Menyedari hakikat ini, maka kajian ini dijalankan untuk memperlihatkan penggunaan pola strategi dan struktur kesantunan dalam kritikan juri professional rancangan realiti televisyen. Kritikan menjadi fokus kajian kerana kritikan sukar disampaikan secara berkesan tanpa meninggalkan rasa kurang selesa terhadap penerima kritikan. Kajian ini mempunyai tiga objektif, iaitu mengklasifikasikan pola strategi dan struktur kesantunan dalam kritikan juri, menganalisis kecenderungan penggunaan pola strategi dan struktur kesantunan kritikan juri dan menghubungkaitkan kencenderungan penggunaan pola strategi dan struktur kesantunan kritikan dengan ciri kesantunan Melayu. Analisis dan perbincangan melibatkan secara langsung pendekatan pragmatik. Data kajian melibatkan 416 ujuran kritikan juri tetap, juri berulang dan juri jemputan dalam rancangan Mentor terbitan TV3. Data dianalisis berpandukan Model Pola Strategi dan Struktur Kesantunan (MPSSK) yang dimanifestasikan daripada model kesantunan Brown dan Levinson (1987), model kesantunan Asmah Omar (2000) dan teori maklum balas teknik Sandwich Davies dan Jacobs (1985). MPSSK mengetengahkan dua bentuk pola strategi dan struktur kesantunan, iaitu pola A dan pola B. MPSSK pola A ialah pola ujaran yang tidak membentuk struktur tetapi memberi pilihan strategi kesantunan, iaitu strategi berekod tanpa penyesuaian (BTP), strategi berekod dengan kesantunan positif ( BPKP) dan strategi berekod dengan kesantunan negatif (BPKN). </text>

Kajian ini berkaitan dengan aspek persekitaran yang melingkungi kehidupan kanak-kanak berdasarkan novel kanak-kanak yang pernah memenangi Hadiah Sastera Perdana Malaysia bagi kategori novel kanak-kanak. Novel kanak-kanak yang dikaji, iaitu Memori Atikah (2002), Azrul Wira Anak Laut (2006), Umairah dan Kuda Putih (2008), Beruk (2010), Suteki Da Ne Aleena (2013) dan Rahsia Dhia (2014). Permasalahan kajian ini bertitik-tolak daripada untuk mengenal pasti persekitaran yang dipaparkan dalam novel kanak-kanak dan terhadnya sumber rujukan di peringkat ilmiah. Selain itu, isu masalah sosial yang melibatkan kanak-kanak turut mendorong kajian ini dijalankan. Kajian ini mempunyai tiga objektif, iaitu menghuraikan persekitaran kanak-kanak dalam novel-novel Hadiah Sastera Perdana Malaysia, menganalisis aspek persekitaran yang mempengaruhi perwatakan kanak-kanak dalam novel-novel Hadiah Sastera Perdana Malaysia berdasarkan Pendekatan Ekologi dan merumuskan pengaruh persekitaran terhadap perwatakan kanak-kanak dalam novel-novel Hadiah Sastera Perdana Malaysia berdasarkan Pendekatatan Ekologi. Kajian yang menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan dan analisis teks ini, mengaplikasikan Pendekatan Ekologi, iaitu hasil penyesuaian Teori Ekologi Bronfenbrenner (1979,1986) dan Konsep Pendidikan Anak-anak dalam Islam oleh Abdullah Nasih Ulwan (1988). Pendekatan Ekologi mengandungi tiga komponen, iaitu Persekitaran Khusus, Persekitaran Ekosistem dan Persekitaran Umum. Persekitaran Khusus oleh ahli keluarga, rakan, guru dan jiran. Persekitaran Ekosistem diwakili oleh pekerja ibu bapa, sistem pendidikan dan sistem penadbiran. Persekitaran Umum pula diwakili oleh budaya, nilai, agama dan kepercayaan, teknologi dan media massa, perpindahan tempat tinggal dan kematian ahli keluarga. Objektif utama penyelidikan adalah mengukur tahap persepsi pengguna terhadap penggunaan serat tandan sawit untuk diaplikasikan dalam pembuatan produk kraf. Selain itu, konsep pembangunan material yang dibangunkan, bertujuan bagi memenuhi keperluan pendidikan material dalam bidang seni dan kraf, di peringkat pengajian tinggi tempatan. Penyelidikan ini melibatkan lima (5) pemboleh ubah, iaitu pengetahuan material, pengalaman sensori, kesedaran potensi, penerimaan estetika dan pembangunan produk kraf. Kaedah penyelidikan Mixed Method Sequential Explanatory Design telah digunakan dengan melibatkan dua fasa, iaitu fasa kuantitatif dan fasa kualitatif. Kedua-dua kaedah tersebut bertujuan bagi menghasilkan dapatan yang lebih jelas dan kukuh, disamping memantapkan sokongan kepada hasil dapatan dalam fasa kuantitatif. Kaedah triangulasi data, iaitu pengumpulan data melalui instrumen soal selidik, temu bual dan pemerhatian telah digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Responden penyelidikan pula terdiri daripada pelajar seni dan professional dalam bidang kraf dan tekstil. &#13;
Dalam penyelidikan ini, data soal selidik yang diperolehi menerusi fasa kuantitatif telah dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensi melalui penggunaan perisian SPSS 24.0. Analisis deskriptif dijalankan untuk menilai tahap kekerapan, peratusan, min dan sisihan piawaian. Manakala analisis inferensi pula, ujian MANOVA, Kolerasi Pearson dan Regerasi Beganda, digunakan untuk mengenal pasti perbezaan, hubungan dan pengaruh antara setiap pemboleh ubah. Seterusnya, fasa kualitatif pula telah melibatkan data yang diperolehi melalui penggunaan instrumen temu bual dan pemerhatian.</text>

Pengajian terjemahan telah berubah daripada kaedah konvensional kepada proses moden dan kompleks ekoran perkembangan teknologi maklumat dan komunikasi serta globalisasi media. Bidang terjemahan terkini juga melibatkan terjemahan skrin dan multimedia seperti lokalisasi, fansubbing, sari kata, sari kata opera, alih bahasa dan beberapa lagi. Penterjemahan untuk khalayak tertentu, contohnya khalayak kanak-kanak, ialah komunikasi antara kanak-kanak sebagai penonton dengan orang dewasa sebagai penterjemahnya. Kebiasaannya, golongan kanak-kanak sebagai penonton sasaran tidak mempunyai keupayaan untuk mengenal pasti pemanipulasian yang berlaku dalam teks atau versi terjemahan, terutamanya jika bahan teks itu mengandungi item khusus budaya. Tesis ini memilih sisi animasi kanak-kanak untuk meluaskan lagi ilmu tentang pelbagai aspek alih bahasa. Ia berkaitan dengan unsur budaya dalam kartun animasi kanak-kanak, selain untuk meningkatkan piawaian penterjemahan skrin di Malaysia. Kajian ini mengenal pasti Sembilan kategori item khusus budaya – seni, kepercayaan dan nilai-nilai, geografi, insfrastruktur, bahasa, benda, alam semula jadi, manusia dan sosial dalam siri animasi tempatan, Upin &amp; ipin, dan kemudiannya menganalisis item-item tersebut berdasarkan kerangka teori berstruktur tentang ciri-ciri terjemahan audiovisual dan prinsip-prinsip alih bahasa kanak-kanak. Kajian ini berkaitan dengan analisis lakuan tuturan dalam ucapan Mahathir Mohamad terhadap isu 1MDB. Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti bentuk-bentuk lakuan tuturan dengan menggunakan kerangka teoretis yang dibina melalui proses penggabungan teori Austin (1962) dengan Searle (1979), dan proses penyesuaian. Proses penggabungan dan penyesuaian telah menghasilkan enam kategori lakuan dan 57 sublakuan tuturan. Enam kategori tersebut ialah kategori lakuan pernyataan, kritikan, ekspresi, arahan, komisif dan deklarasi. Sepuluh ucapan Mahathir Mohamad mengenai isu 1MDB dipilih dan dianalisis dari sudut lakuan tuturan. Bahan kajian dipilih bermula tahun 2015 hingga 2017, dengan jumlah durasi keseluruhan adalah selama 4 jam 10 minit (250 minit). Dari sudut kategori lakuan, didapati lakuan pernyataan mencatatkan kekerapan tertinggi (958 ujuran atau 47.02%), diikuti oleh lakuan kritikan (721 ujuran atau 35.45%). Lakuan ekspresi pula di tempat ketiga (174 ujuran atau 8.55%), manakala lakuan arahan di tempat keempat (160 ujuran atau 7.87%). Lakuan terendah ialah lakuan komisif (21 ujuran atau 1.03%). Kajian ini tidak menemui lakuan deklarasi. Berdasarkan analisis kajian, didapati Mahathir Mohamad cenderung melakukan pernyataan untuk mendedahkan atau memberi gambaran umum tentang isu 1MDB, kemudian diikuti oleh lakuan kritikan terhadap pengurusan 1MDB. Selain itu, Mahathir Mohamad turut melakukan pelbagai lakuan arahan, yang khusus ditujukan kepada pihak pengurusan 1MDB. Lakuan janji tidak dominan dalam ucapan Mahathir Mohamad. Dari sudut sublakuan tuturan, sebanyak empat sublakuan tuturan yang mencatatkan kekerapan paling dominan, iaitu lakuan maklumat, lakuan kritikan langsung, lakuan dakwaan. Kekerapan sublakuan ini memperlihatkan bahawa Mahathir Mohamad memberikan pelbagai maklumat menegnai 1MDB, kemudia melakukan kritikan langsung dan melakukan dakwaan dengan menggunakan pelbagai rujukan yang boleh dipertanggungjawab.</text>

Tapak-tapak arkeologi pra-sejarah adalah warisan ketara yang amat sedikit bilangannya dan tidak dapat dinilai harganya. Ianya dianggap sebagai warisan manusia sejagat. Pada waktu yang sama, tapak-tapak ini sangat sukar untuk dikenal pasti dan sayangnya, senang sangat dimusnahkan oleh kerana keadaan jumlah kandungan peninggalan budaya kebendaannya yang amat sedikit. Ini adalah kerana kebanyakan daripada tapak-tapak arkeologi pra-sejarah tergolong dalam zaman di mana manusia mengamalkan kehidupan berpindah-pindah atau nomadik dan tidak membina struktur-struktur yang kekal lama. Penyelidikan ini cuba untuk menganalisis pengurusan beberapa tapak arkeologi pra-sejarah di Malaysia dan membandingkannya dengan satu kumpulan pengurusan ‘ best-practices’ yang berdasarkan kepada beberapa garis panduan perundangan global yang dicadangkan oleh PBB dan UNESCO. Sebanyak empat tapak arkeologi dan empat muzium tapak arkeologi yang berbeza telah dipilih, berkaitan dengan pengalaman pengkaji dengan tapak-tapak berikut. Ianya adalah Guar Kepah, Kampung Sungai Mas, Kota Tongkat, Kota Kelangkiu, Lembah Bujang, Lenggong, Bukit Tengkorak dan Gua Niah. Keadaan semasa tapak-tapak yang dipilih telah dikenalpasti oleh pengkaji berdasarkan lawatan tapak dan pelbagai temubual-temubual. Secara keseluruhannya, kajian ini mendapati bahawa pengurusan tapak-tapak arkeologi pra-sejarah di Malaysia tidak mencapai tahap prestasi global. Terdapat pelbagai sebab mengapa perkara ini berlaku, akan tetapi secara asasnya, kajian ini mendapati bahawa tidak terdapat satu sistem sepadu yang menggabungkan kesemua pengurusan tapak-tapak arkeologi yang digunakan oleh institusi-institusi yang terlibat dengan pengurusan tapak-tapak ini.</text>

Tenun Pahang Diraja (TPD) merupakan seni tenunan warisan Melayu Pahang yang menjadi salah satu identiti utama kesenian di negeri Pahang. Aktiviti tenun berkembang khususnya di daerah Pekan sejak abad ke-16 sehingga hari ini dengan sokongan pihak kerajaan dan istana Pahang. Perusahaan ini mengalami persaingan apabila reka corak yang lebih kontemporari sesuai dengan cita rasa terkini membanjiri pasaran. Kain komersial TPD hanya dihasilkan daripada struktur tenun biasa walaupun mempunyai peralatan yang boleh mempelbagaikan struktur tenun, kesan kemasan akhir kain dan dapat mengurangkan masalah kedutan. Kain TPD perlu dibangunkan daripada aspek rekaan dan teknik mengikut kesesuaian peralatan menenun dengan mengekalkan identitinya. Tujuan penyelidikan ini dijalankan untuk menghasilkan kain TPD yang lebih kompetetif berdasarkan inovasi melalui struktur tenun. Justeru, usaha dilakukan untuk menyesuaikan rekaan kain TPD bermula daripada aspek teknikal dan kreativiti. Kajian ini memfokuskan isu perana Dramaturg di Malaysia pada peringkat pra produksi, produksi mahupun pasca produksi. Isu ini menyebabkan Dramaturg tidak berpeluang berkongsi kemahiran yang sewajarnya. Malahan tiada sebarang panduan ataupun pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan peranan Dramaturg ini. Justeru itu, kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk menghuraikan peranan Dramaturg dalam persembahan Karoot Komedia X bagi memperlihatkan perkaitannya dengan isu peranan Dramaturg. Kajian ini juga bertujuan untuk menginteprestasi dan menganalisis idea ramatung menerusi kombnasi Model Dramatung Gotthold Ephraim Lessing (1769), Teori Dramatik Aristole (335) dan Teori Humor Asa Berger (2017). Data-data kajian diperolehi melalui instrumentasi kajian kaedah tandom interview, non-participant observation dan penelitian dokumen. Kajian keperpustakaan turut dilakukan bagi memperolehi maklumat awal berkenaan tajuk ini. Dapatan kajian ini memperolehi (a) Dramaturg Komedi berperanan sebagai seorang ‘pengkaji’, (b) berperanan sebagai seorang ‘Operator’ serta (c) berperanan sebagai seorang ‘Perantara’. Dramaturg perlu mempunyai kualiti sifat kreatif, inovasi dan dinamik. Di samping itu dapatan kajian ini turut membuktikan Dramaturg telah membina sebuah persembahan new komedi melalui persembahan Karoot Komedia X. Berdasarkan kerangka peranan Dramaturg yang dibina melalui kajian ini dapat memberikan inspirasi terhadap individu yang berhasrat memegang peranan sebagai seorang Dramaturg.</text>

Tujuan kajian ini dilaksanakan adalah untuk menganalisis pola perbelanjaan beli kumpulan B40 dan M40, menganalisis hubungan faktor-faktor nilai budaya bandar dan keterlibatan sosial ke atas kecukupan dengan pola perbelanjaan sebagai perantara dan, apakah kesan pola perbelanjaan ke atas kecukupan. Untuk mencapai objektif kajian, kajian ini menggabungkan kaedah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Bagi kaedah kuantitatif, edaran soal selidik ke atas 522 orang belia Melayu di Kuala Lumpur dengan menggunakan kaedah persampelan bertujuan dan bola salji telah dilakukan. Manakala perbincangan kumpulan berfokus dan temubual bersama informan telah dilaksanakan bagi kaedah kualitatif. Responden yang juga informan yang terlibat mempunyai kriteria-kriteria khusus seperti, berumur antara 20-39 tahun, tinggal dan bekerja di Kuala Lumpur, dan dari kumpulan B40 dan M40. Untuk memproses maklumat, dan kemudiannya dianalisis menggunakan program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), Atlas, ti, dan kaedah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan Analysis of Momentum Structures (AMOS). Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa, belia kumpulan B40 dan M40 mengutamakan perbelanjaan yang sama walaupun berlainan tingkat pendapatan. Faktor nilai budaya bandar dan keterlibatan sosial didapati mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan ke atas pola perbelanjaan sementara pola perbelanjaan hanya berfungsi sebagai perantara bagi hubungan kumpulan rujukan dengan kecukupan, Secara keseluruhan, pola perbelanjaan didapati hanya mempengaruhi tahap kecukupan secara kecil. Hal ini menunjukkan, walaupun menetap di bandar dan berdepan dengan budaya bandaran serta di himpit kos sara hidup yang tinggi, kedua-dua kumpulan belia Melayu masih berpegang kepada nilai norma yang ditetapkan dalam diri mereka. </text>

Teater kontemporari di Malaysia di awal era 2000 mempunyai perkaitan dengan kewujudan panggung nasional, Istana Budaya yang dibuka secara rasmi pada tahun 2000. Istana Budaya diawal penubuhannya memberi peluang kepada pengarah-pengarah teater ternama dengan karya-karya berskala besar yang menyokong aspirasi nasional. Kesan dari itu, peluang bagi penggiat-penggiat teater baharu untuk mengenengahkan idea kreatif dari segi penulisan dan pengarahan mereka sendiri terutamanya dari golongan graduan menjadi terhad. Istilah teater alternative dirungkai dalam kajian ini sebagai manifestasi kepada kemunculan satu kelompok kecil penggiat-penggiat teater yang mencari alternative untuk mementaskan teater berskala kecil di Kuala Lumpur yang bermula pada tahun 2003 di sebuah panggung ‘kotak hitam’ (black box) yang diberi nama Stor Teater DBP. Joko Widodo yang mempunyai gaya sederhana sebagai seorang presiden mewujudkan satu kejayaan untuk membangunkan kepulauan Indonesia dari Sabang sampai Marauke. Piliha raya presiden di Indonesia sangat dinamik dan berdaya saing, sama ada di pihak pembangkang atau pemerintah dan menunjukkan terdapat kuasa atas strategi kempen mereka sendiri. Matlamat kajian ini adalah (1) untuk menganalisis unsur-unsur kajian budaya dalam teks ucapan kempen Jokowi 2019 Indonesia dalam pemilihan presiden dengan menggunakan konsep Raymond Williams; etnik, kepimpinan, ideologi, dan retorik dan (2) untuk menganalisis unsur-unsur analisis wacana dengan menggunakan teori Brown dan Yule: rujukan, praandaian (presupposition), implikatur, dan kesimpulan. Tesis ini memperlihatkan keperibadian Jokowi berdasarkan analisis pemilihan presiden di Indonesia  dari 23 september 2028 hingga 17 April 2019 dan teks yang difokuskan untuk Joko Widodo dikaji di beberapa tempat, iaitu Jawa, Sumatera, Sulawesi dan Kalimantan. Data diambil dari ‘Media sosial’’. Analisis teks ucapan kempen menunjukkan retorik (logik, kredibiliti, dan emosi), kepimpinan (individu iaitu, oleh pengaruh lain untuk mencapai matlamat bersama, pemantauan, bimbingan, inspirasi dan motivasi), etnik, dan ideologi jangka dilakukan. Kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk meneliti tahap kesejahteraan subjektif dalam kalangan peserta program Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysa (AIM) DI Cawangan Kepong, Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur Tengah. Program berteraskan pembangunan komuniti seperti Amanah Ikhtar Malaysia kebiasaannya menetapkan objektif pencapaian berasaskan kepada perubahan jumlah pendapatan peserta sebelum dan selepas menyertai program. Namun begitu, kajian ini meneliti pandangan dan pendapat dari peserta program berkenaan dengan kualiti kehidupan mereka secara keseluruhan. Peserta program yang dipilih adalah mereka yang menyertai program AIM sekurang-kurangnya selama satu tahun. Kaedah penelitian dan penilaian bagi kajian ini tidak terhad terhadap perubahan fizikal sahaja, namun juga melibatkan psikologi peserta. Peserta bukan sahaja dinilai dari aspek pemilikan, malahan berdasarkan tahap kepuasan hidup dari segi kesihatan, pendidikan, sosial dan pencapaian diri (impian). Pendekatan gabungan (mixed method) digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah protokol temu bual dan juga soal selidik yang berasaskan kepada tujuh (7) indikator kesejahteraan subjektif. Kaedah analisis kualitatif digunakan bagi memperolehi penerangan berkenaan pandangan peserta berhubung tahap kesejahteraan hidup serta penilaian terhadap pencapaian mereka. Kajian menunjukkan terdapat lima (5) bentuk halangan dan cabaran, enam (6) aspek utama yang mempengaruhi tahap kesejahteraan peserta dan tiada hubungan korelasi yang kuat antara satu sosioekonomi dengan kesejahteraan subjektif peserta program mikro kredit Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM). Permasalahan ini boleh diselesaikan dengan penambahbaikan struktur program sedia ada melalui peyaluran lebih banyak bantuan berbentuk teknikal, khidmat nasihat dan pemantauan berkala berkaitan projek yang dijalankan. Hasil kajian ini dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan tahap kesejahteraan subjektif peserta dan sebagai panduan kepada pihak yang berkepentingan dalam menyediakan bantuan, program yang bersesuaian dan mesra peserta program.</text>

Bidang kesenian merupakan cabang komunikasi secara tampak antara sesama manusia melalui pelbagai kaedah perlambangan daripada sistem tanda yang ditandai dengan makna-makna tertentu menerusi komponen visual. Justeru, kandungan seni ilustrasi daripada visual tradisi alam Melayu merupakan medium manifestasi makna yang meliputi nilai intelektual dalam sesebuah masyarakatnya. Makna yang hadir menerusi komponen ilustrasi memberi indikasi nilai tertentu dalam konteks ilmu pengetahuan, merentasi kepelbagaian budaya dan kepercayaaan. Oleh yang demikian, fokus utama kajian ialah mengenai proses interprestasi makna tanda ilustrasi visual yang terdapat dalam manuskrip Pelaga Lembu dan hubungannya dengan konsep ilmu pengetahuan mengikut resam tradisi. Terdapat kebih 100 jenis ilustrasi visual dalam 312 bab dalam manuskrip, seperti ilustrasi jin, wakaf, diagram, kaligram, tanda bab, figura manusia, jadual, fauna dan khat, dianalisis secara semiotik bagi menterjemahkan nilai simbolik di sebalik kewujudannya. Bagi merealisasikan penyelidikan ini, pengkaji menggunakan tiga konsep gabungan teoretikal, iaitu Kesatuan Organik (Orvick, 1994) bagi aspek seni visual, Semiotik Tanpa Had (Charles Sanders Peirce, 1914) bagi aspek kaedah interprestasi tanda makna dan teori justifikasi Ilmu Pengetahuan oleh Al-Ghazzali (1056-1111) bagi aspek penerapan konsep ilmu mengikut bimbingan Al-Quran dan hadis. Kombinasi ketiga-tiga konsep teoretikal ini menghasilkan Semiotik Model Inderalogi dan diaplikasikan sepenuhnya pada peringkat analisis isi kandungan makna ilustrasi visual. Hasil kajian sistematik ini menunjukkan bahawa penalaran makna sentiasa berkembang sehingga menemukan dwifungsi kebenaran. Kebenaran alam nyata menyangkit makna daripada nilai budaya setempat manakala kebenaran alam metafizik berhubung dengan aspek spiritual, mistik dan keagamaan. Fenomena makna dalam ragam kesenian visual tradisi membuka ruang pemikiran baru dalam konteks seni semasa. Sekali gus, memperlihatkan kebijaksanaan seniman manuskrip Melayu mengolah, mereka bentuk dan menstrukturkan ilustrasi menjadi sebuah jambatan kerohaniaan menerusi laras pengetahuan budaya di samping nilai estetika. </text>

Kajian ini membincangkan psike keterancaman Melayu menerusi analisis ke atas isu-isu Melayu terancam ketika era pemerintahan Pakatan Harapan (PH) selama 22 bulan. Bagi memahami keterancaman Melayu, konsep pelindung Melayu dan konsep nasionalisme Melayu telah diketengahkan bagi menerangkan epistemologi keterancaman Melayu yang memiliki ciri-cirinya yang khusus. Kajian ini memfokuskan tiga objektif iaitu menganalisis faktor-faktor pendorong keterancaman Melayu dalam era PH, menilai pengaruh elemen konservatisme dalam membangkitkan keterancaman Melayu serta yang terakhir iaitu merumuskan impak keterancaman Melayu terhadap aspek sosial dan politik orang Melayu. Konsep keterancaman dan teori konservatisme telah dipilih dan dijadikan alat analisis dalam kajian ini kerana kedua-dua konsep dan teori tersebut sangat erat dengan psike keterancaman Melayu. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah pengumpulan data iaitu dari sumber primer dan sekunder bagi mengukuhkan kajian. Kesemua data yang dikumpul kemudiannya dianalisis menerusi model analisis yang telah dibangunkan. Hasil kajian ini memberi indikator bahawa faktor politik dan sosial menjadi pendorong utama kerapa isu-isu keterancaman Melayu yang telah dibincangkan. Hal ini dikukuhkan lagi dengan hasil temu bual yang mendapati, pengaruh konservatisme terhadap psike keterancaman Melayu begitu signifikan apabila informan yang lebih konservatif cenderung lebih berasa terancam berbanding informan yang sederhana konservatif. Kajian ini turut membuktikan bahawa psike keterancaman Melayu telah meninggalkan impak yang cukup besar terhadap aspek sosial dan politik di negara ini. Dapatan-dapatan ini penting dan memberi sumbangan besar dalam kajian melibatkan keterancaman Melayu yang sering melingkari budaya politik Melayu. &#13;

Baruk adalah sebuat ruang fizikal, iaitu sebuah bangunan khas dan ia jua adalah sebuah entiti yang abstrak, digunakan untuk pelbagai fungsi budaya, sosial dan politik. Maka ia dikenal sebagai institusi Bale gambang-Beruk sebuah institusi utama masyarakat Bidayuh. Setiap perkampungan masyarakat Bidayuh mempunyai baruk masing-masing. Sekarang, bilangannya berkurangan dan kepenggunaannya pun berubah. Metodologi penyelidikan kualitatif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data dibuat menggunakan sumber premier/utama seperti bajo asal bale gambang-baruk (nyanyi-baruk (nyanyian rakyat) grite Bidayuh damba (cerita lagenda) serta kerja lapangan ke beberapa bale gambang-baruk di Kampung Gumbang, Kampung Opar Bau, Kampung Pichin dan Kampung Taee Serian, yang masih mengekalkan fungsi tradisional institusi ini walaupun mengalami arus pemodenan. Hasil kajian membuktikan fungsi dan peranannya sebagai simbol identiti Bidayuh terus dipelihara. Walau bagaimanapun terdapat kebimbangan dalam kelestariannya akibat daripada impak perubahan dan kemodenan yang berlaku dalam komuniti Bidayuh sendiri.&#13;

Menurut Homi K. Bhabha di dalam bukunya, The Location of Culture (1994), di dalam sejarah, kolonialisme boleh mengambil penguasaan daripada elemen-elemen sandiwara dimana mimicry atau peniruan terhadap Barat/penjajah oleh Timur/yang dijajah ialah sebahagian kaedah penyebaran kuasa dan ilmu kolonial. Oleh itu, mimicry ialah keinginan untuk menguasai sebuah Other atau bukan Barat yang lebih baik dan dikenali, sebagai hampir sama, tetapi tidak sebegitu sama, dan ia merupakan sebuah strategi penambahbaikan, penambahaturan dan pendisiplinan yang kompleks untuk menyesuaikan Other atau bukan Barat selaras dengan keinginan penguasaannya. Kajian ini akan menggunakan kerangka konseptual mimicry oleh Homi K. Bhabha dalam menerangkan elemen mimicry dalam perwatakan watak-watak Melayu Muslim dalam lima buah novel Affifudin Omar, iaitu Paradoks (2011), Meniti Rindu (2013), Tun Tuah (2016), Sesat 2012) dan Seludup (2012), dan menganalisa penentangan mereka terhadap wacana kolonial. Kerangka konseptual dibahagikan kepada tiga peringkat untuk menganalisisi novel-novel tersebut, iaitu; a) mempersoalkan konsep penjajahan b) metonimi kewujudan c) perpecahan wacana kolonialis. Kaedah analisis tekstual telah dikendalikan untuk mengkaji sama ada watak-watak Melayu Muslim tersebut mempunyai elemen-elemen mimicry dan menggunakannya untuk menentang wacana kolonial. Kajian ini mendapati bahawa mimicry kolonial di dalam watak-watak Melayu Muslim tersebut membawa kepada kejayaan spiritual mereka dan berfungsi sebagai alat penentang wacana kolonial dan pembebasan daripada kuasa kolonial, memperkembangkan kajian dalam mimicry dan sastera Melayu sebagai sebuah penentangan terhadap wacana kolonial.&#13;

Kemenangan Pakatan Harapan dalam Pilihan Raya Umum ke-14 (Pru ke-14) membuktikan wacana sememangnya berperanan dan berkeupayaan membina ideologi sesebuah parti politik sehingga Berjaya menarik sokongan rakyat dan menang dalam PRU-ke-14. Justeru, kajian bahasa dan ideologi dalam manifesto Pakatan Harapan dilakukan untuk memaparkan cara bahasa dimanfaatkan dalam wacana, khususnya mentafsir ideologi Pakatan Harapan. Oleh itu, secara khusus objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengklasifikasikan bahasa dan ideologi manifesto Pakatan Harapan melalui analisis tekstual, membicangkan bahasa dan ideologi manifesto  Pakatan Harapan melalui wacana praktis dan menganalisis bahasa dan ideologi manifesto Pakatan Harapan melalui analisis wacana sosial. Kajian ini mengaplikasikan kaedah kualitatif untuk menafsir ideologi Pakatan Harapan berdasarkan teori wacana kritis tiga dimensi yang dimajukan oleh Fairclough (1995). Berdasarkan analisis tekstual, wacana praktis dan praktis sosial, pengkaji telah Berjaya menafsir dua ideologi dalam wacana manifesto Pakatan Harapan, iaitu ideologi menyahterakan rakyat dan ideologi pentadbiran berintegriti. Hasil kajian menerusi dimensi tekstual mendapati aspek nahuan, leksikal dan kohesi yang digembleng dalam wacana manifesto Pakatan Harapan telah berupaya mengukuhkan ideologi yang ingin disampaikan oleh Pakatan Harapan kepada rakyat. Menerusi dimensi wacana praktis pula, aspek intertekstualiti, interdiskursiviti dan kandungan teks telah Berjaya mentafsir ideologi Pakatan Harapan untuk disampaikan kepada rakyat. Praktis sosial menerusi aspek sosial, ekonomi, pendidikan dan politik berkeupayaan mentafsir dua ideologi dalam wacana manifesto Pakatan Harapan, iaitu ideologi menyahterakan rakyat dan ideologi pentadbiran berintergriti.                                                         </text>
