Kaedah penyelidikan yang penulis gunakan untuk mendapatkan data-data yang diperlukan bagi menyelesaikan kajian ini ialah melalui kaedah pemerhatian yang berterusan dan temu bual secara mendalam dengan pelbagai responden dan informan yang mempunyai hubungkait dengan tajuk kajian ini. Melalui kajian ini, penulis mendapati bahawa: (1) masyarakat Tembilahan Inderagiri Hilir, Riau ternyata masih memiliki apresiasi yang tinggi terhadap seni persembahan Teater Mamanda, (2) Seni persembahan Teater Tradisional Mamanda itu masih lagi wujud di kalangan masyarakat Banjar Inderagiri Hilir, Riau dan masih digemari ramai, (3) Seni persembahan Teater Mamanda di Tembilahan Inderagiri Hilir, Rau pada asasnya sama sahaja dengan yang ada di Kalimantan Selatan, namun sejarah yang panjang dan perkembangan masa dan situasi tempatan telah mempengaruhi beberapa aspek tertentu teater ini, seperti : Ungkapan-ungkapan yang digunakan, pakaian para pemain (pelakon) serta jalan ceritanya. Dengan kata lain, seni Teater Mamanda di Tembilahan Inderagiri memiliki ciri-ciri tertentu yang tidak dimiliki seni Teater Mamanda di Kalimantan Selatan. Bahasa Melayu dengan tulisan jawinya telah berjaya merakamkan khazanah ilmu yang lengkap mengenai pelbagai bidang hidup. Khazanah ini sebahagiannya dimanifestasikan dalam kesenian kaligrafi Islam dan terus membuktikan keupayaannya dalam suatu kesinambungan yang kukuh sebagai media ibadat seseorang Muslim. Dalam kajian ini, penulis cuba memberi gambaran umum tentang mercu tanda perkembangan kesenian kaligrafi Islam yang telah mencetuskan sebuah tamadun Melayu Islam di Malaysia. Tinggalan sejarah telah membuktikan bagaimana kesenian kaligrafi dalam warisan peribumi itu disesuai dan diberikan jiwa Islam melalui penggunaan motif-motif flora dan geometri bagi melambangkan perjalanan menuju kepada Tuhan, dan mengajak kepatuhan dan kebaktian kepada Allah s.w.t. Penulis cuba menyenaraikan karya-karya hasil daripada manifestasi seni kaligrafi Islam, yang menjadi batu tanda perkembangan ilmu tulisan di kalangan masyarakat Melayu, dalam usaha seni mendokumentasi warisan bangsa agar menjadi lanjutan kepada generasi yang akan datang. Daripada gambaran yang ringkas itu, dapatlah disimpulkan bahawa Islam telah membina tamadun Melayu yang kini mewadahkan kesenian kaligrafi Islam sebagai salah satu ciri kebudayaan Malaysia yang bercorak ilmiah dan akliah. Ligitimasi ini kemudiannya diperkukuhkan melalui paparan segala unsur simbol meliputi penggunaan tanda atau sign dan ikon yang menggambarkan kebesaran raja-raja Melayu dalam teks penglipur lara yang dikaji (Bab 3). Di samping itu ligitimasi ini dapat dilihat melalui penggunaan bahasa (perkataan, frasa dan lain-lain) yang digunakan oleh para raja, pembesar dan rakyat yang dapat menjadi alat kuasa yang memaparkan kekuasaan para raja dan pembesar (Bab 4). Penanaman konsepsi ligitimasi raja-raja Melayu ke atas rakyatnya terbukti melalui persetiaan raja-rakyat yang mengemukakan tanggungjawab raja dan rakyat. Tanggungjawab rakyat terjelma melalui konsep ketaatsetiaan mutlak rakyat. Bagaimana pun ketaatsetiaan ini bergantung kepada keadilan raja dan survival rakvat (Bab 5). Tanggungjawab raja kepada rakyat pula terpahat pada ikrar raja untuk menjadi scorang raja yang adil (Bab 6). Keadilan politik ini menjadi penentu kepada kemakmuran dan kejayaan negeri-negeri Melayu tradisi dalam memastikan kelangsungan hayat ke-raja-annya. Dari itu keseluruhan bab saling berkaitan dan saling melengkapi antara satu dengan lain. Bahagian akhir bab ini turut membincangkan tentang perubahan fonologi berdasarkan kepada perubahan konsonan. Guru bahasa Inggeris lebih kerap menggunakan kamus jika dibandingkan dengan guru bahasa Melayu. Maklumat yang dicari oleh pelajar-pelajar dalam kamus ekabahasa berbahasa Melayu ialah makna, penggunaan kata dalam konteks, ejaan, simpulan bahasa, sinonim dan imbuhan. Maklumat yang sama dicari oleh mereka dalam kamus dwibahasa berbahasa Inggeris, kecuali maklumat sebutan berada di tempat ketiga terpenting, selepas makna dan ejaan. Mereka Juga menghadapi sedikit masalah dalam cara menggunakan kamus. Analisis data menunjukkan bahawa daripada 1,000 KKI yang dipilih daripada bahan kajjan, sebanyak 596 atau 59.6 peratus adalah tergolong dalam KKTAKt. dan 404 atau 40.4 peratus tergolong dalam KKPasif. Orang orang Portugis membawa tari dan musik branyo, dan orang-orang Melayu mengadopsinya ke dalam roggeNg. Ünsur-unsr budaya Barat laínnya di dalam ronggeng dapat dilihat dari tari secara berpasangan, gaya tari, dan ritme musiknya triple (6/8). Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan kerangka teoritikal Selinker. Pengkaji merumuskan bahawa hipotesis Selinker dapat diluaskan kepada pemerolehan bahasa kedua kanak-kanak prasekolah.Kesilapan yang paling biasa dilakukan ialah penandaan kala kini dan kala lampau, salah guna penanda jamak, kata ganti milik, kata ganti diri, dan penghilangan artikel.
