Persamaan ini secara langsung adalah disebabkan per saaan latar belakang masyarakat dan kebudayaan kedua-dua masyarakat Malaysia dan Thai, Dalam kedua-dua bahasa ini pula didapati bahawa ada perhubungan yang rapat antara penggnaan bentuk-bentuk panggilan dengan sistem nilai sosiobudaya bangsa masing-masing, yang berhubung pula dengan pangkat, status, wur, pertal ian dan keturunan kedua-dua orang y ang bercakap dengan yang dilawan bercakap. Kajian ini nenunjukkan bahawa banyak maklumat dapat di kumpul kan daripada kajian perbandingan. Kajian susulan yang lebih lanjut perlu dibuat tentang perband ingan antara sistem panggilan dalam bahasa Malaysia dan bahasa Thai dalan genre-genre lain, misal nya skrip drama pentas, skrip drama adio, perbahasan, pidato dan Wawamcara.
