Latihan ilmiah ini membincangkan tentang kajian terhadap novel Mandotori yang diterbitkan oleh Syarikat Alaf 21 Sdn. Bhd. pada tahun 2000 untuk cetak pertama dan 2001 untuk cetak kedua dengan menggunakan Teori Konseptual-Kata  Kunci ciptaan Mohamad Mokhtar Abu Hassan. Dalam kajian ini terdapat dua konsep yang dikaji berdasarkan teori iaitu konsep keadilan dan konsep kepimpinan.&#13;
Menerusi kajian ini juga, dapat diteliti kata-kata kunci yang digunakan oleh Ramlee Awang Murshid di dalam novel tersebut berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan. Bersesuaian  dengan teori, novel ini dilatari dengan pergolakan kehidupan manusia demi menuntut sebuah keadilan dan berhubung kait dengan konsep kepimpinan. Daripada kedua-dua konsep  yang terkandung dalam novel ini, saya akan mengaitkannya dengan prinsip-prinsip asas. Teori Konseptual-kata Kunci iaitu kepengaruhan, pemilihan kata dan kesan.&#13;
Akhirnya kesimpulan akan dibuat berdasarkan analisis yang telah diperolehi untuk menggambarkan konsepsi penulis terhadap kedua-dua konsep yang dikaji.&#13;
