Terdapat empat tujuan, iaitu menganalisis lambing kata nama (KN) dalam BM dan BOA sebagai salah satu jenis tanda, menunjukkan indeks kognitif lambang KN konkrit, abstrak dan ghaib BM dan BOA, menganalisis perbandingan dengan berdasarkan kategori dan jenis KN dan menguji model yang dibina, iaitu MSPL.
