Bab empat merupakan analisis teks 1001 Pantun Baru dengan menggunakan prinsip yang telah dipilih. Pantun bukan saja dinikmati secara lisan semata-mata tetapi dari keseluruhan; tema, isi, pola rima, bentuk, diksi-diksi terpilih, mesej yang ingin disampaikan, malahan apa sahaja yang membangunkan binaan sebuah pantun termasuk dalam ruang lingkup kajian khususnya dari aspek estetikanya.
